Project Name: Zacky Farms-Stockton, U.S.A

Technical Definition: Chilling tumblers with Vacuum Suction System

Catalog Number: GET-HD-2003S

General Information

The machine is a hydraulic jacketed vacuum tumbler, which is quoted for 10,000 lbs. capacity. All metal parts are 304L stainless steel. The machine is built of three main units, powered by hydraulic system and electrically controlled. The product is inserted through a 6” pipe using vacuum and emptied out using rotary motion through an 18” (450mm) hole on the other side.

Tumbling unit

The unit is made of a solid stainless steel frame on which the drum is rolling. The tumbler is powered by 4 hydraulic motors with a variable speed control.

Power unit

The power unit includes the hydraulic oil tank, a double pressure pump and a cooling pump for hydraulic oil. It also contains the vacuum unit and the control panel.

Cooling system contains 2 elements:

  1. A liquid chiller made by TRANE, Model CGA 120B; 10 Tons capacity.
  2. A cooling fluid circulating unit, which contains an expansion tank (capacity 120 gal.); circulating pump for cooling fluid, filter and control devices. The system is connected directly to the tumbler and controlled by the control panel at the power unit.

All sub-systems are connected with pipes and cables and can be freely located according to plan layout.
